There's no set pattern as far as when it comes and goes, but the seaweed is very affected by the weather, there was a lot for about 2 weeks before that tropical storm clipped us in June, water's been clear every time I have been to the beach since.If there is a strong wind or tide from the south, it will come in. September is tricky. If there has been any hurricane/storm activity in the Gulf (which there normally is) within 2-3 weeks there may be some residue like seaweed, jellyfish, red tide. All can affect water quality.
